| The Operator will be held to the highest standards of honesty, safety, productivity and cooperation. He/ she must meet all HR requirements – absenteeism, performance, safety record. Be willing to train for advancement within the department while continuously aligning daily functions to reflect Kinross’ values.
Essential Functions 1. Lifting and carrying equipment and materials over 50 pounds frequently throughout the work day. 2. Thorough and accurate checks of the ADR and dedicated plants. 3. He/ She must have good troubleshooting skills recognizing, rectifying and reporting problems to their immediate supervisor. 4. Compliance with all company policies and procedures including, but not limited to safety, environmental, confidentiality and code of conduct. 5. Meets or exceeds established performance expectations set by management. 6. Consistently exercises discretion and judgment in job performance. 7. Works without risk or harm to self and others. 8. Punctuality and regular attendance required. 9. Helps develop other department personnel to perform duties listed above. 10. Performs other related functions as assigned by supervisor. |

| 1. Ability to walk over rough terrain as well as climb stairways, catwalks and pads.
2. Ability to shovel clean up material. 3. Ability to lift 50 lbs. frequently throughout the day. 4. Ability to work at heights in excess of 80 ft. 5. Ability to work in adverse weather conditions. 6. Accurate and legible paperwork is a must. 7. He/she will have performed the duties of an operator for a specified period and must meet all department training guidelines. He/she will be conversant and task trained on all support equipment. 8. Possesses good communication and interpersonal skills. 9. General understanding of mining operations, as well as limited understanding of milling and maintenance operations. 10. Working knowledge and skill with P.C. utilizing word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software. 11. Strong verbal, written, analytical and persuasive skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management. 12. Ability to work independently and also as a member of the management team. 13. Demonstrates strong administrative, organizational and technical writing skills. 14. Must be 18 years old and presently authorized to work in the United States on a full time basis. 15. Requires valid driver’s license. |
