| Job Summary
This is an entry-level position for Fixed Maintenance. This temporary position may allow progression training within the Fixed Maintenance Department while continuously aligning daily functions to reflect Kinross’ values . Essential Functions 1. Clean shop areas. 2. Organize all shop supply bins. 3. Keep yards organized and stocked. 4. Keep rag bins full, floor dry filled and trash dumped. 5. Assist mechanics when needed. 6. Recognize and control environmental hazards. 7. Helps develop other department personnel to perform duties listed above. 8. Compliance with all company policies and procedures including, but not limited to safety, environmental, confidentiality and code of conduct. 9. Meets or exceeds established performance expectations set by management. 10. Consistently exercises discretion and judgment in job performance. 11. Works without risk or harm to self and others. 12. Punctuality and regular attendance required. 13. Perform other related functions as assigned by supervisor. |

| 1. Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
2. Willing to train on other equipment operation as required. 3. Able to operate forklifts and other shop equipment. 4. Must be able to be level 3 pit trained. 5. Able to meet the physical demands of the position. 6. Ability to work alone with minimum supervision. 7. Working knowledge and skill with P.C. utilizing word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software. 8. Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills. 9. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with all departments. 10. Must be willing to work overtime as required. 11. Must be 18 years old and presently authorized to work in the United States on a full time basis. 12. Possesses good communication and interpersonal skills. 13. General understanding of mining operations, as well as limited understanding of maintenance operations. 14. Strong verbal, written, analytical and persuasive skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management. 15. Ability to work independently. 16. Ability to function within the qualifications outlined in the attached physical demands sheets. 17. Requires valid driver’s license.
