Kinross is offering one student the opportunity to join its corporate head office as part of our Gold Rush Summer Internship program the summer of 2015. The student will gain exposure to the full set of Kinross operations (corporate, regional, sites and projects) while supporting the Corporate Enterprise Risk Management Program.
Responsibilities: - Analyzing/synthesizing site, regional and corporate function risk registers for reporting to senior management and the Board/Board Committees on Kinross' Risk Profile. - Liase with designated Risk Champions across Kinross (via email & phone) to: clarify and validate information on submitted risk registers and to obtain status updates on action plans for key risks including issues raised by Kinross Insurers'. - Undertake projects to review and update Kinross risk management tools (risk rating matrix, risk register template, et c) by soliticing feedback from internal stakeholders and researching leading practices. |

| Business, Engineering or Science degree student completed at least 1st year.
Key Skills: Advanced written and spoken English. Strong Excel, Powerpoint skills. Ability to multitask; past experience working on various files at once, with different timing and different priorities. Ability to conduct research on leading practices. Analytical & project management skills. |
