This position reports to the Vice President of Environment and Project Permitting and will provide high-level administrative support to the VP and the global environment and permitting management team. The successful candidate works well with little supervision, highly efficient, manages and prioritizes multiple requests from department professionals and seeks and implements opportunities to enhance department efficiency.

Provide key support to the VP, Environment& Project Permitting and to the Global Environment & Permitting Management Team including, but not limited to, travel, calendaring, expense reports, presentations and communications.

Maintains Kinross Corporate Responsibility Management System (CRMS) on intranet platform – Will be expected to work with SharePoint software to maintain, update and expand information contained on the CRMS including working with corporate IT to maintain functionality. Will be responsible to coordinate translations of CRMS materials and insure translated materials are maintained current on the CRMS platform.

Will be expected to oversee Departmental electronic files and maintain file management protocol including periodic review and clean-up.

Will be expected to be a “power user” of both Microsoft Office and Project software. Taking concepts provided by executives, the EA will be expected to produce effective presentation materials in all formats including PowerPoint for senior leadership and Board of Director level audiences.

Will be expected to assemble, finalize and distribute monthly and quarterly Department reports in addition to providing necessary support to Departmental staff on various reports and correspondence.  Other duties as required.










Associate degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred Mining experience preferred 5 years or more of related work experience Professional demeanor and willingness to be flexible in a fast-paced environment Excellent oral and written communications skills Proficient in Microsoft software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and etc) Estimated travel based on current job requirements is (10%).
