| Job Summary
This position is responsible for preparing samples (drying, crushing, splitting, and pulverizing) for fire assaying. Successful candidate will operate laboratory equipment (small crusher, pulverizer, balances, pH meters) and maintain daily records and logs.
· Responsible for employing designed sampling methods which are most appropriate to obtain a sample that is representative of the original sample or blast hole · Responsible for maintaining a clean work area · Responsible for performing maintenance tasks on equipment, and maintaining clean equipment, that is within the scope of training and abilities · Responsible for inputting blast hole information into lab computers to organize samples and sample envelopes, and maintain sample integrity as well as production data for daily and monthly reports · Punctuality and regular attendance are required · Possession of a valid driver’s license |
