To modify, rebuild or overhaul electronic and electrical equipment and controls.  Applies knowledge of electric
theory and electronic principles in determining equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment to operation.








Essential Functions

Plans details of working procedure by determining replacement needs or new material required and develops a logical approach to correct the problem

Analyzes circuits, wiring diagrams and drawings to install, repair, calibrate, service or replace electronic devices systems 

 Receives wiring diagrams, specifications and instructions from supervisor covering emergency and scheduled repairs, installation, and electrical inspection work to be performed

Performs work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical theory and principles, statutory codes, properties of materials and principles of operation of electrical equipment.  Starts up and shuts down equipment in accordance with company safety procedures for machine activation and shutdown and in line with OSHA\MSHA requirements 








Services electronic equipment by checking, testing and replacing faulty components, circuits, printed circuit boards, and similar electronic devices

Installs, repairs and maintains communication cables, power distribution cables, and splicing  cable pieces as required


High school diploma or equivalent preferred.  Employee mush have sufficient education to read and write instructions, perform simple mathematical calculations and keep records

Ability to function within the qualifications outlines in the attached physical demands sheet

Must have solid knowledge of electrical theory, including instrumentation

Must be 18 years old and presently authorized to work in the United States on a full time basis

Working knowledge of power from 120 to 4160.

Knowledge of VFD's and Transformer protection.

Knowledge of Generator trouble shooting.

NEC building codes on new and existing construction.








Must possess a current, valid driver’s license
