Kinross is currently seeking Mobile Mechanics to repair and maintain its heavy diesel trucks along with graders and dozers. Some of our fleet include Caterpillar 785s, 789s, and 793s plus Caterpillar 994 loaders, 3600 and 5500 Hitachi shovels and we want you to consider a career with us.
Key activities involve: Troubleshooting, diagnosing, modifying, fabricating and repairing mobile and stationary equipment electrical systems, hydraulic systems, diesel engines, drive trains and track equipment undercarriages by using specialized testing equipment and electrical systems knowledge. Responsible for all tasks related to preventative maintenance program such as reposting fluid leaks, performing lube work, taking fluid samples, inspecting components and parts for proper operation, damage or wear, etc. Repair and replace components and parts as needed. |
