Duties include purchasing materials, goods and services for Fairbanks Gold Mining, Inc., using established procurement controls and procedures; researching alternate pricing to control costs; expediting and tracking orders; and maintaining professional relations and communications with site personnel and suppliers.
Essential Functions •Order placement of materials and services •Expedite and trace orders until delivery is complete or canceled •Research alternate sources and pricing to control costs •Maintain adequate vendor and department relations •Perform data entry, typing, filling and other clerical functions to maintain accurate records •Reconcile questionable invoices with vendors and provide material cost estimates when needed |

•Two year degree in business administration preferred
•Previous experience with the preparation of request for quotations and quotation analysis •General knowledge of mechanical and chemical principles and terminology •Excellent verbal, writing, analytical and presentation skills •Must be 18 years old and presently authorized to work in the United States on a full time basis |
