Under the general supervision of the Maintenance General Foreman, supervises a crew of trades people to execute maintenance in a safe, efficient and productive work environment. Ensure that established policies, practices, and procedures to include Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) are followed when completing work assignments. Responsible for the safety, health and environmental management in area of responsibility. |

1. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Employee must have sufficient education to read and write instructions, perform simple mathematical calculations, and keep records accurately. 2. Three years experience in repairing and maintaining heavy equipment preferably within the mining industry. 3. A minimum of two years experience as a supervisor or relief supervisor. 4. Experience with computerized maintenance systems. Preferably with JDE v9.0 or later 5. Demonstrated commitment to safety and the environment. 6. Thorough understanding of the maintenance requirements and procedures for heavy mobile equipment is necessary. 7. Ability to function within the qualifications outlined in the attached physical demands sheets. 8. Good working knowledge and skill with a PC utilizing word processing and spreadsheet programs. |
