Fully owned by Kinross, the Kupol mine consists of an underground operation. It is located in the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug of the Far East Region of the Russian Federation. The Kupol mine consists of a high-grade gold and silver vein. |

KINROSS GENERATION GOLD PROGRAM
At Kinross, our objective is to attract and retain the best people in the industry. To support the increasing need for technical professionals, Kinross has developed a world-class, new graduate development program we call Generation Gold. This four-year, rotational program was designed to develop talented, high-potential candidates for Kinross’ community worldwide. The Generation Gold program will give you the opportunity to gain valuable international work experience - you will work in four different locations, in four different technical positions, over four years. You will learn from, and work with, highly-qualified professionals; experience new cultures; learn new languages; and gain the skills necessary to become a leader of tomorrow. We are looking for new or recent graduates that: - Are in their final year, or are a recent graduate, of a Geology, Engineering, Supply Chain, Metallurgy or Health and Safety program from a recognized educational institution, with an excellent academic record; - Have 1-4 years professional, mining-related work experience, including co-op and/or intern experience; - Have demonstrated leadership ability and initiative; - Have demonstrated community involvement, through volunteerism, athletics, or community groups; - Have strong communication (written and oral) and analytical skills; - Are culturally aware, and are geographically mobile and flexible; - Are fully fluent in English, and can speak a second language (due to our geographic locations, Spanish, French, Arabic, Portuguese, and/or Russian will be considered an asset).
