| Job Summary
Under the general supervision of the Plant Maintenance Supervisor, the incumbent performs maintenance on crusher equipment, processor equipment, and pumping and piping systems while continuously aligning daily functions to reflect Kinross’ values . Essential Functions 1. Operate basic support equipment such as overhead cranes and forklifts. 2. Perform bearing analysis and installation. 3. Complete basic mechanical projects. 4. Lube small equipment, store the new oil, and dispose of waste oil. 5. Compliance with all company policies and procedures including, but not limited to safety, environmental, confidentiality and code of conduct. 6. Meets or exceeds established performance expectations set by management. 7. Consistently exercises discretion and judgment in job performance. 8. Works without risk or harm to self and others. 9. Punctuality and regular attendance required. 10. Helps develop other department personnel to perform duties listed above. 11. Performs other related functions as assigned by supervisor. |

| Qualifications and Skill Requirements
1. Knowledge of and ability to operate basic support equipment including forklifts, rigging, and overhead cranes. 2. Knowledge of lubing equipment, and the processes for storing and disposing of oil. 3. Possess basic mechanical skills, and basic cutting and welding techniques. 4. Able to perform bearing analysis and installation. 5. Possesses good communication and interpersonal skills. 6. General understanding of mining operations, as well as limited understanding of milling and maintenance operations. 7. Working knowledge and skill with P.C. utilizing word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software. 8. Strong verbal, written, analytical and persuasive skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management. 9. Ability to work independently and also as a member of the management team. 10. Demonstrates strong administrative, organizational and technical writing skills. 11. Must be 18 years old and presently authorized to work in the United States on a full time basis. 12. Requires valid driver’s license.
